Are they comfortable?

They felt good almost immediately. I recommend wearing no-shows, especially since they help with airflow. High-end Italian leather construction, so it’s much more pleasant than breaking in plastic-based shoes. Bonus, they’re already broken-in so your feet just adjust easily.

Do they hold up well?

They look worn from the start, I didn’t worry about wearing them outside. I’ve worn them all over NYC, and I’m impressed with the durability. Nothing has torn, and the leather hasn’t stretched. Thanks to the vintage look, I can’t even tell if there’s new wear and tear.

How are they vs. other brands?

They’re the highest quality sneakers I have. I’ve tried others like Vejas, but Golden Goose wins in both comfort and quality. There’s a secret wedge inside that adds support and height — making your legs look longer. Also, they’re crafted individually, so each pair is one of a kind. And the shine on mine? Absolutely gorgeous.

Would you buy again?

Totally! But I’d recommend waiting for a sale. They cost a lot, so getting them with a promo is smarter. I’d pay several hundred for the quality, especially if you pick something you’ll wear a lot. I went bold with sparkle, but a minimalist version would also be smart.

They ran true to size for me — I usually wear a size 6, and I went with a EU 36. They haven’t stretched at all, so if you’re between sizes, I’d go up a size

They look worn from the start, I didn’t worry about scuffing them more. I’ve worn them all over NYC, and they still look great. No glitter has fallen off, and the leather hasn’t stretched.
